Since I was in Lisbon for a few weeks, we planned a photo shoot — this time with Nelson and his amazing girlfriend Kiki as the couple in front of the camera. It was a relaxed and heartfelt love story session that felt natural from the very beginning.
We met near the Church of Saint Anthony, right by the colorful wall of the Museum of Saint Anthony — a perfect spot to start. From there, we wandered through the streets past Lisbon Cathedral, capturing their connection in the narrow lanes of Alfama.
As the sun began to set, we reached Miradouro das Portas do Sol. The light was soft and golden, and the view over the rooftops was the ideal backdrop for the final shots of the day. Nelson and Kiki were fully in the moment — laughing, holding hands, and simply enjoying each other.
I always love photographing real couples in meaningful places. As a Lisbon photographer, it's days like this that make every session feel personal and alive.
